1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using matriXdocs ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. These terms apply to all users globally.

2. Description of Service

matriXdocs provides an AI-powered document automation tool designed to assist users in completing forms, generating high-fidelity PDFs, and managing digital signatures. The Service operates primarily on a Local-First Architecture paradigm, offering a secure "Guest-First" experience without mandatory cloud sign-ups.

3. Subscriptions & Payment Processing

You may elect to upgrade to a Regular (Premium) subscription or purchase Pay-As-You-Go credits.

• Payments are processed securely via Stripe (which accepts major cards, Alipay, and WeChat Pay).
• Your premium status is linked to your anonymous Device UUID generated upon your first interaction.
• Account Recovery: If you lose access to your device, your premium features and Custom Vanity Email Alias can only be recovered via a Magic Link sent to the email address provided during checkout.

4. Vanity Email Aliases & Acceptable Use

Users on the Regular subscription have the right to claim a custom email alias (@matrixdocs.ai).

• Aliases must be alphanumeric, between 3-30 characters, and unique across the platform.
• Prohibited Actions: You may not reserve aliases mimicking administration, billing, support, or security teams (e.g., admin, root, webmaster).
• We reserve the right to revoke alias ownership without notice or compensation if the alias is used for spam, phishing, unauthorized automation, illegal activities, or violates third-party brand trademarks.

5. User Data & Ownership

Your privacy is strictly protected. As outlined in our Privacy Policy, user data and document contents are processed locally or ephemerally on the edge network for routing. We do not claim ownership of any forms, signatures, or documents generated.

6. Use License

Permission is granted to use matriXdocs for personal, commercial, or governmental document processing. You agree that you will not:

• Use the Service for any malicious, illegal, or unauthorized purpose.
• Automate queries or reverse engineer the AI routing and extraction systems.
• Exploit any portion of the generative capabilities explicitly against their intended form-filling purpose.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. matriXdocs makes no specific representations or warranties of any kind regarding the exact accuracy of the AI-processed documents. You remain solely responsible for reviewing and verifying the contents before signing, transmitting, or legally binding them.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall matriXdocs, its developers, or affiliates be held liable for any damages—including loss of data, profit loss, or business interruptions—arising from the use, inability to use, or any data loss resulting from device failure or un-backed-up local configurations.

9. Updates & Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at our discretion. Your continued use of the Local-First application following an update indicates acknowledgment and acceptance of the revised terms.
